I am having a real Blast. I play both the Bass and rhythm guitar. Best part is that long haired young gent wearing out the guitar is my oldest son so it's a real blast to get to play in a Rock band with your son live. We switch out on the Bass and guitar for different sets as he can also play both.

How cool is that, you are very lucky Arthur, as is he. So often kids have no interest in what their folks are into.
Are larger band line ups quite normal in the States? Here in the UK a three or a four is about the norm, but like you, playing in a six, you soon get the less is more and leaving space 'thang!' I reckon.
Great "Face Page" there too, please share when the videos go up

Re: Mortarmans The Last Chance Band link
We are all just having a Blast and enjoying our music. Most of the bands here range from 4-6 members but not always but the larger group keeps the cost of equipment down and lends much more help in setup and takedown time for certain. We all contribute and enjoy playing and we are gaining a local following of all ages both young and old as we cover the classic rock, southern rock, 90's rock and some modern country as well. My son grew up listening to me play along with my albums and he loves the same music as I do but he is a much better lead player than me. I will stick to Bass and rhythm. It was really cool to be able to watch and share with my son and his friends growing up and introduce them to our beloved Uncle Matt designs. They all play as well and they love to come over still and enjoy an Aria, Vantage, Westone, Electra, or some of the other brands. It's a blast and keeps me going. Thanks for the comments and I will be posting more video and photos as I get the site completed. Goal is to have at least one video per gig.
