Is this a Westone ? Empty Is this a Westone ?

Well, is this any Westone you know of?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=290319839205

It's advertised as a Westone and it's similar in style to the Thunder 1A model, but it seems to me like it's carved on the front a bit like a PRS scratch .Also the neck pick-up has been swapped for a single coil and the truss rod cover is wrong.

It could be DIY modified I guess clown . Any idea's?

The headstock doesn't look Westone, but it could still be a Mat. Or they could have taken a Thunder and not only carved the body but the headstock as well? Can't say I'd buy it.

I think you may be right in that it is a Thunder 1A with a few 'modifications'! The carved top looks good, I reckon and putting it back to OES shouldn't be too hard; MMK45's turn up reasonably often on ebay and the TRC can be fabricated by any decent engraver.
However, I'd be asking for some more, better detailed pix of the headstock and the rear of the body etc.! Very Happy

I looked twice at this one, when is a Thunder not a Thunder?

Given that Thunders are coming up regularly on UK ebay (and in original trim) I'll be leaving this one for someone else.
