Thunder Chrome Knob Wanted
Like it say, I need one replacement chrome knob for my Thunder 1T. I'm in the UK, but one shouldn't be expensive to ship from anywhere. Will pay shipping costs obviously.
Similar to the ones on this, but chrome not brass. Thanks in advance.

Geez, that could be a hard one to find. Still, stranger things have turned up in here.
If you have no luck you could always replace them with the Switchmaster style knobs and still be "correct". CLICK HERE

Didn't realise they'd be hard to find. I guess everyone is keeping them on their guitars! I'm not too concerned about originality, but like the chrome. I had a taller one on there, but the trem arm catches on it, so I'm running with just two for now. I've disconnected the bottom tone control anyway as I never use it and kept catching it by accident.

Re: Thunder Chrome Knob Wanted
Finding a replacement part for any Westone can be difficult, especially when you're dealing with one of the less common finishes - the knurled brass knobs turn up reasonably frequently, but I don't recall ever seeing a chrome one for sale.
As Barry says, you could replace them all with Switchmaster knobs which would look good IMHO, apart from being black rather than chrome, but bear in mind that the 1-T wasn't actually fitted with them as standard (if you're bothered about that sort of thing) - after the chrome knobs, the 1-T had parallel-sided, black, ribbed knobs, as shown below (with a Switchmaster copy on the left for comparision), which I think may have been unique to that model

GRETSCH knobs might be an option, if you don't mind the 'G' logo. Classy but a bit pricey.
The Tele-style knobs are cheap but likely too tall and gnarly looking.

Re: Thunder Chrome Knob Wanted
If your that desperate, just get a brass one and chrome it!
Although it'll probably cost about a 1/5 of the guitars worth.

Re: Thunder Chrome Knob Wanted
As Barry mentioned, the Gretsch style knobs are the same dimensions, just a narrow strip of knurling on the edge.
