2014 Electra Phoenix... bridge pickup slant

Anyone have an opinion on the reverse slant bridge single coil?  Like this...







Jimi a Strat with a reverse slant bridge pup.      Well, it's true, it was "reverse slanted" as far as we right handed folk are concerned, anyhow. 

Should be receiving this Phoenix in mid April, very excited.  But anyone have any experience with these reverse slant pups?

Whatever the difference in the slant, it's not going to be much in sound.

My thoughts exactly, it does need a rosewood board!

It's basically a brand new Westone Spectrum.

They're a dealer, yes.  The owner of the company is Ben Chafin from Dean (among others).  He bought the rights and began manufacturing.  I really like these designs.  Check them out on Facebook.

The Talon is very Prestige in shape

I thought so too.      They've got more in the pipeline, excited to see what else they come up with.

I really love it with that trans wood finish, not crazy about the look of the pickups though.
I agree it should have a rosewood fretboard.

Don't know about the neck yet, I won't know till she arrives.  I'm really excited for it.      Will do a full report once I have it in hand.

These new Electra models are very well thought out and the quality and craftsmanship is exceptional and it shows. I have two of the new Electra Omega Prime models and they blew me away when I played them. Everything we like in the old designs but with new modern innovations and hardware. Ben and company have some awesome products with more in the works and are well deserving of a look see.
