Doesn't sound quite right. My Strat has a 7.25" radius, some have 12" radius.. ect ect. I don't have a radius gauge to set the bridge so that the strings follow the exact radius of the neck. At this point I am just guessing. Was hoping someone had a set of gauges and could fill me in.
Thanks.

I have often wondered if all the spectrum necks have the same radii, I have an ST which I will measure after this beer..
the ST and DX I had felt exactly the same to play.

Interesting. I've never checked all these years, but had assumed it was about 9.5".
Much flatter than I thought.

Probably a dumb question, but ill ask it anyway.
When measuring neck radius should you measure to the fretboard or to the top of the frets which would be a larger (slightly) radius.  It seems to me it should be the top of the frets so that saddle heights are equal for all strings.

Theoretically they should be identical, at least when the guitar is new. The "true" radius is that of the fretboard, and the frets are initially set into that curvature, so they would not be a larger radius, just concentric.

But depending on what has happened to the frets over time, they can deviate from that radius (popping up, worn down, etc). Generally speaking, use the fretboard as your reference.

Cool, I'd guessed 12" and was right.  My FX feels like a 12" radius, crazy as that probably sounds.
