WANTED: 5-hole neckplate for Dynasty

Sure, they come up  (and are) on EvilBay for $30 and up... but someone here has one sitting in parts tray that wants me to have it for less.  C'mon now... ya know you do

5 hole?  They didn't come 5 hole from factory far as I know, they were all 4 hold and then they were drilled for the strap button.  That's why you see the strap buttons in different places on the Dynasty's.  So use a stock plate and drill one for your strap button.  That's what I did on my recent Dynasty project.  There's pics on here somewhere.

So they sold them without the strap button (hole) through the plate on the Dynastys, and every 14-year old boy got out a drill for his new pointy guitar?

  No, new import guitars were often shipped without the strap buttons attached.  The stores would do it.  Factory's would too though, don't get me wrong.  My 1984 Dynasty had the strap already drilled into the neck plate, but my 1985 Dynasty had it in a different place.
