I read this morning that the 275X is a solid maple body so it's going to be alot heavier than my Cutlass classic which is my working guitar.

However from your link above it may well be something completely different so not sure to be honest. How heavy is your unidentified model no 3 ?

The WE1000, which that guitar is, is made from Ash.

About 7/8lbs.

If it was closer I would be tempted to travel and try, always been drawn to natural wood finishes but being an old time gardener my back is now shot and I really feel that extra weight (getting boring !!), hence the cutlass and maybe a concord at some stage.

Know the feeling, spent too many years leaning under car bonnets.

Very, very good guitars the Cutlass, have two.

Some Concords can be a bit weighty.
