Spectrum GT and permanent marker.... Empty Spectrum GT and permanent marker....

Hi guys, the previous owner of my GT wrote his postcode on the front of the headstock in permanent black marker, it's hardly noticeable, but I could do with removing it....any ideas as to how I could do this safely without damaging the guitars finish?

WD40 on a cloth or a squirt of fly spray on a cloth will most likely do the trick as well (sounds strange but it does work)

Simple rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab will dissolve it easily without damaging the finish!

now just to recap to make sure I've got this right.....

I have to drink some alcoholic rum on Tuesday and apply some WD40 to a fly with a cotton swab whilst licking Westbone.....no problem!
