Editor Upgrade

Some of you may have noticed that there has been an upgrade to the message editor. This has been done by Forumotion the owner of the software, not me, so please do not ask for changes. I have no direct control over it.

The layout is more or less the same but you may notice a few additions/changes. In addition to the Insert Flash button you now have one for YouTube and Daily Motion vids. There are also a couple for the time and date.

If you click on the More/Less button you'll expand the bar a bit. You can ignore most of those items though, especially the Wow tag which does not work at all. Spoiler is another (sometimes) helpful insert. It basically hides text or graphics until you click on it. Lots of information on how to use it on the interwebs.

Smilies now display as one big (reduced size) block instead of categories. If you mouse over them they display the full size image. Enjoy.

Just a reminder that there are 2 ways to create a message:
• The Quick Reply box at the end of the thread
• The PostReply button located next to the NewTopic button at the bottom of the page

The Quick Reply just offers the most commonly used options. If you want all of them (for example, bullet points) use the Post Reply instead.

Forumotion is continuously tweaking the new editor. They appear to have now gone back to the category listings and full size icons. But they're on a black background instead of white??? Looks like the "quote" function is now working better too. They'll get it right...eventually.
