Hi, I have a Thunder I that has been lying around. All the wiring was messed up so today I attempted to resolder it. I seems to work good. However, I notice that the bridge pickup has the screws nearest the neck rather than the saddle. Is this right? If not will turning it make any difference?

Fingers too sore to type more after a day of testing out the sound.

in humbucker mode it should not make any difference

in single coil mode, it will change the location of the active coil. maybe a slight change in tone as a result

On mine the screws are nearest the bridge (bridge Pup) and nearest the neck (neck Pup)

Screws should face out, slugs in, both pups.
