Re: Concord 1 body thickness
If you are going to do it, just be really carful with the measurements. If it is routed off a bit, then you may not be able to intonate it. I would also look at the overall string spacing on the current bridge and compare to the replacement to make sure the strings "track" down the neck the same.
And if you are going to use a real Fender trem - I would go for the one they put on the US deluxe models. Those along with locking tuners really do the job. The bridges on the MIM, MIK, MII and MIC are all just show peices, they will not stay in tune with any real bit of trem work.

concord body measures ~1 3/4" thick
maybe this is a silly question... if you are considering routing out for a trem, do you not have a concord I already?
or is this a theoretical kind of alteration of, an imaginary guitar or a possible future acquisition?
if you are looking to increase it's value for resale, then most alterations from original tend to decrease value to collectors. but, they may also spur interest in other persons to which the brand is not already known.
if it is your guitar, then i say, make the guitar what you want it to be, and jam out!

Theres a special place reserved in the depths of hell for anyone who screws up a Westone. Every day is a tuesday and you're forced to endure hoax's intoxicated stream of consciousness on a constant loop for eternity. It could be entertaining though.

Re: Concord 1 body thickness
My advice is, don't!
If you desire a Concord with a trem, look for a Concord II-T.
