Now I have a few fav youtube channels I subscribed to and among them is this one by JazzVideoGuy.
Lately it featured some interesting video talks by Larry Rosen, founder of GRP records.

Through this I also had to think of the album Tales by Marcus Miller where a tribute is paid to the late guitarist Eric Gale who also worked with Stuff, a great band with fantastic live recordings on youtube as well that besides Eric Gale features guitarist Cornell Dupree. Live at Montreux 1976 (1978):

Back to Tales by Marcus Miller In the reprise of the track Tales it has the tale a narrative by pianist Joe Sample.
Here it starts at 5:36 But it is well worth listening the complete compilation!

Great story and great album!
Keep grooving!
