Question about my Concord III
Do any of y'all (Texas) know why my '83 Concord III weighs SO MUCH more than my other Westones? Maybe the bridge, knobs, and tuners are solid gold?
I have several Concord Is and Leaders and they do not even come close in weight.
Thanks in advance for feedback..

Re: Question about my Concord III
No, it's more than likely the density of the wood.
Those are not Concord III pickups on yours. Did you change them?

Good eye! Those are Fender '57 PUs. I am sure you are correct about the density of the wood. I just wonder what kind of woods were used.
I also like Westbone's theory of Westy Weight Ix, IIx, and IIIx.
