Anyone wanting to part with a Dimension IV?
Hi everyone/anyone,
Is there anybody willing to part with a dimension IV either red or black?
Reasonable price for reasonable condition, maybe perhaps?

I've looked into the importing fees and it's pretty alarming. The freight, customs, duty, brokerage and taxes are considerable. Perhaps this may apply to interested fellow Canadians eh!

Just pull the pennys from the tax mans eyes before they bury him to pay the unfair taxes...Those extra taxes are always a bummer for certain. Good Luck and I will keep my eyes open.

I thougth it was something worth mentioning when you buy/sell internationally. You may offer/buy and agree on a price but you find that a 600.00 item actually cost you 1,000.00 once it's all said and done. Just something to consider.

"Shipping" is usually the killer for most deals alright. And stay away from UPS if at all possible.
Those buggers always charge a hefty brokerage fee just for the hell of it.
But what really toasts my bread is US sellers who lump Canada in with Europe and the rest of the 'foreign' world, and charge accordingly. Really ludicrous when the guitar is coming from, say, a few hundred Km's over the border on the other side of one of the Great Lakes.

I don't mind driving 200 clicks, especialy if it's to meet a fellow Westone enthusiast. You get to meet the person one on one. However, if neccesary courriers are 'a' way to go, if no other options are available or depending how patient one is and how much you're willing to pay extra.
I am still looking for a Dimension-IV in transparent red (X4TPR). Will take any assistance on this guys/gals.
Cheers,

Re: Anyone wanting to part with a Dimension IV?
I must admit, my next purchase will be a dimension/dynasty. Just need some mad pointy guitar action in my life that will give me a collection of 5 guitars and I think I'll struggle to get anymore past the Mrs! Though I would also like a thunder 3

You can always use the pointy headstock to fend her off.Stefan 4 wrote:...I think I'll struggle to get anymore past the Mrs!...

So glad we got that facepalm icon. Comes in handy for Barry.
Anyhow, you should definitely go for a pointy. Can't go wrong with either the Dim IV or the Dynasty (I'm partial to the Dynasty...). I too have the Mrs. to contend with. Some of the guys on here have learned to sorta "hide" how many guitars you own.
Learn from me, I bought a guitar once for the expressed purpose of selling it, which I did. It wasn't one I liked, just one I knew I could sell. My Wife saw this and she began to understand that it's a little business venture, buying guitars and all. And she doesn't watch me so closely anymore!
