Westone Thunder 2A - Wanted

For nostalgic reasons [had one back in the 80's and my favourite of all the guitars I owned back then] I'm looking for the above in reasonable condition.
Must be in Midnight blue and must be 'Version 1' (the one with the light oak centre stripe).

Note: I do check eBay so please don't post a "there's one on eBay at the moment" type responses.

I think you've got off to a bad start Jazzles.

There are some really helpful people here whom I have seen move heaven and earth to assist with all sorts of requests for help. All they ask is to be treated with a bit of respect after all this is not a shop front, it's a group of enthusiasts who care about their westies. Might be a good idea to ask again,
manners cost nothing but are worth everything.

Quite right. I had to restrain my keyboard when I first saw the "request" and passed on commenting.

Westbone and westcoaster have said it all. If you are serious about wanting to find your guitar, this is not the way to present yourself for assistance. You have to have to at least get off yer backside and make an effort and we'll more than meet you half way.

I misguidedly thought I was being helpful by saying no need to notify me if there is one on eBay as I'm checking that avenue on a very regular basis.

Of course I'd loved to be notified if anyone has one for sale or knows of one in a local music shop/pawnbrokers/friend of a friend etc.

Welcome on board, and I hope you find what you're looking for. If you can't find that one there's plenty of other westones out there, lots of them really good. I was lucky and got the one I was looking for very quickly when I started hunting, but have since aquired others that originally weren't on my radar. It's addictive - just treat this as a support group for the similarly afflicted.

Many thanks. I had been following one on eBay [for sale in Leicestershire] it had reached £190 [16 bids] and seemingly it has been withdrawn one day before the auction was due to end.
