Electra Westone Twin necked bass model X695JB

Hi i am new to the forum and was wandering if any body knows much about about the X695JB twin necked bass' i have just acquired one and would like some info i,e what all the knobs and switches do and also what are they worth and did i get a bargain for £100. I can post photo's if required

Welcome, and first off, does it have both necks? Secondly, you're in the UK, yes? If so, that's an odd bird to have picked up on that side of the Atlantic as Electras weren't marketed outside the continental US; good score!

Hi Thanks for your quick reply, yes it does have both necks, serial numbers on the head stock is different the fret-less is 4050067 and the fretted is 4050099

You will find this Bass a pleasure to play with either neck installed and it is simple and easy to switch between the necks. Congrats on a great score as they are not often seen anymore with both necks.

Reckon you got a bit of a bargain if this is anything to go by.

Hi and thanks to everyone for your replies, I have looked at the link to ebay and doing a bit of research my self i think my westone is older than this one which is 1986, i think mine was made in 1984, I also noticed that mine has different pick-ups to the one on ebay. I am trying to get some photos uploaded so you guys can give your opinions and help me out

If I were going to sell mine I would start at $2000.  They are extremely rare, and somebody out their collects bass guitars and they would have a one of a kind bass like this.
