Don't know hardly squat about that guitar, but I do know about poor auctions with only one picture.

Contact him for more pics. Detailed pics. LOTS of them. Then get onto a Gretsch fansite and ask away. Are you close enough for a personal inspection? If so then definitely do so. Good luck sir!

Pics are right there in the listing. Below the text saying 'I'm pretty sure it isn't a real Gretsch, the logo looks painted on '.

A dude has been here to look at it, as anyone who is interested in buying is welcome to, and reckons it might be a Gretsch body with another neck (possibly a Grimshaw, since there were tons of Grimshaw spares with it) grafted on, and a refinish over it (you can see the marks from the neck change). It is carved top not ply. This is stuff I'd add to the listing but the bid locks it from editing.
