Dimensions for Concord Body
I plan on building a version of the Concord model. It won't be an exact copy, but I want to use the basic body and headstock shapes. Can anyone provide a few simple measurements of the body--basically the widest and longest measurements? I'd really appreciate it. I have the body's shape already, but it's either too large or too small. Having a few measurements will help me get the scale correct.
I'll post photos of my progress if it's allowed.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Dimensions for Concord Body
Thanks for your response. The early model is fine, 6 string. Later model is okay, too.

Re: Dimensions for Concord Body
these are approximate measurements i just made on my black concord II, serial number on headstock 2083078:
on the back of the body, from the top of the neck pocket to the bottom edge at strap peg - 15 3/4"
neck pocket is 2 1/8" wide, from end of 21 fret neck to bridge saddle is 7 1/4", 25 1/2" scale
upper body measured from outside edge of horn to horn is 10"
waist at narrowest point is 7 1/4"
butt at widest point is 13 1`/8"
on front of guitar, upper horn to widest point on bottom edge below controls 17 7/8"
on front of guitar, lower horn to widest point on bottom edge at arm bevel 13 1/8"
the headstock tip to the fretboard edge of the nut measures 8"
along the top of the headstock where the tuners are, from the tip along the flat edge to the corner measures 6 5/8"
6 in line tuners, posts center to center for E to E measures 4 3/4"
from the flat edge where the tuners are, and measured perpendicular to the flat edge, from the flat edge on top of headstock to the longest point of the lower edge of headstock measures 3 1/4"
widest point to point across the headstock measures 3 1/2"
let me know if anything needs clarification, i'll see if i can make it more clear

Thank you for taking the time to measure and post the results! Those measurements should be all I need. Again, many thanks. Perry
