The first Pantera X390 at work
Mr Presley did say the first 390 went to Trevor - and I think this is a great video of it in use. Old School logos on it. And what a great song, great harmonies, Bruford on the stand up kit, Squire with an Electra bass - I saw this tour when I was 19 and it is on the top of my memories.

Squire used that bass a bit in the 80's and 90's, but that X390 of Trevor is the reason I have an interst in Westone - That guitar kicks some butt. It's a shame others didn't pick up on it. The 390, 350MA, and some of the other high end guitars are really underated.

Really good vid of them live, thanks for posting it Sarc.
Was it a trick of my eyes or wishful thinking that you can spot the birdstyle W logo on the headstock now? In the past that was masked was it not?
Trevor must also have a goodly supply of pup covers too as the W logos on both of them are pristine in this particular video.

Currently the headstock says Alvarez since Westone disapated and Alvarez pushed the Rabin series. That video should be from about 1991 I believe.

Just rewatched it a second time more closely... yup, wishful thinking on my part.
Those pup cover logos are still pretty crisp, though.

Great vid. Yes is a lot better than I remember them being.
Do yourself a favor and go back to the vid and read the comment from somebody called "starbearry", it's fantastic!
Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Re: The first Pantera X390 at work
Rabin has a solo album coming out in the next few months - his first since 1989's "Can't Look Away".
It is all instrumental and jazzy and features Vinnie Collaiuta and Tal Wilkenfeld (along with long-time drummer Lou Molino and Rabin's son Ryan).
For a short sample, check out Trevor Rabin's Site and make sure you have flash enabled.
