Spectrum Bass locally
UH OH.............. should i go for this today? On craigslist in my sleepy little town in Oregon. I'm not really in need of a new bass but it seems like a good deal. If anyone is really interested i can grab it and you pay actual shipping.

Well, i took your advice John and snatched it up! I'm amazed at the condition its in, its basically unused. The only issue is the bridge pickup sounds weak, yet it still reads about 13 ohms on the multimeter. I think i'll take this thread over to the technical section.

Re: Spectrum Bass locally
How is the pickup height? I put thicker sponges under my GT Bass pickups to give them an extra lift.

Yeah, i checked the pickup height and its not that. I had this problem before with another guitar and it just took a little cleaning of the switch to fix it. Hopefully i'll have time when i get home from work this evening to mess with it a little. It seems strange because it really is practically new, i'm hoping its something simple. The dude dropped it to $125 because of the pickup, so i feel like a winner either way!
