White Genesis I

Nice!!! I've got a Genesis II in white - lovely instruments! You don't play anymore, or don't play IT anymore?!

I really like the body design on these, but I'm not a fan of the pointy head stocks.
So why don't you play her anymore?

Absolutely no knock on this or any other Mats guitar - I own 3 - but I accidentally got addicted to Paul Reed Smith guitars last summer. I now own two of those that I gig with regularly and I just naturally pick them up first. I really like the PRS wide thin neck carve and the 10" radius.

The Genesis is in near perfect condition and I played it a ton - before I got the first PRS. I will probably set this one out on a stand next to my TV watching chair and see if we bond again. Then when pointy headstocks come back into vogue - I will be at the forefront of the Westone led renaissance!

Thanks for posting the pic, she's real pretty. I dig that weird cut out under the bridge pickup, that and the pointy headstock really dates it, doesn't it?! I'd like to get one of these, they're pretty cheap nowadays.

Great to see another guy who knows how to take care of his equipment. My first electric guitar STILL almost looks like new, and that thing has been played on and off for 13 years now!
