need help identifying this model.

my mother in law has asked me to help find info about this model. she thinks it an early to mid 1970's since she got it before my wife was born. ('77). any info anyone could give would be very helpful. thanks

Hello Jason and welcome.

That guitar would appear not to be a Westone despite the logo on the headstock. Matsumoku produced the Westone brand from about 1981 so if this guitar dates from 1977 it definitely won't be a Matsumoku Westone. In all honesty it looks like some sort of Teisco or at least a hybrid of one.

Someone else here with more knowledge might be able to shed some more light onto it for you.
