Re: westone - westbury connnection
Hi Caucajun,
Yes, they all came out of the same factory!
Matsumoku has made many popular guitar brands over the years including Aria, Westbury, Westone, Epiphone, Vantage and Vox, to name but a few!
Hope this helps!
By the way, living way down there in Louisiana, you've gotta be a blues man - am I right? I love the blues!

westone - westbury connnection
yes, that answers my question.
re: "da blues"....
generally, we start out on blues.......so most of us here are well versed on the subject. but, the local scene demands "swamp pop".....that, is where the money is. AAMOF, the #1 requested tune here is, "brown eyed girl" by VAN (th' man) MORRISON. the REAL "local flavor" is CAJUN waltz and ZYDECO.
personally, i'm diggin' on AC/DC , the who , and queen these days.
by th' by, POL'........did i mention..?.. "i luvz dem pank eyrster boots you gots on" !

Hi Caucajun,
Them's Wellies! As we little 'Geordie' girls say up here.
Just for anybody else who is intrigued by the wellies, here's a closer look!
BTW, What does 'eyrster' mean?

dem pank eyrster boots
"eyrster" is the phonetic spelling of the N'awlin's (new orleans) pronunciation of the word "oyster". {(more detail: "ER-iss / turr" / 2 syllables). " put sum ti-guh sawse on y' eyrsters" }
that type of footwear is commonly called "oyster" or "shrimp boots" because they are traditionally worn by Louisiana commercial fishermen(nearly to the exclusion of any other boot type). although, the trad colour is white and occasionally yellow.
query: is it at all "usual" for the moderator of a non- adult website to "show pink"? :joker: is this part of the "rockin'est granny" motif?
i approve

Re: westone - westbury connnection
Hi Caucajun,
Thank you for the explanation. I had a feeling it was 'oyster' but didn't want to put my foot in it, (Groan!) so to speak, just in case I was wrong!
In answer to your query; Yes indeed!
Pink is very much a part of the 'Rockin'est Granny' apparel these days! My car is even decorated with pink furry things :albino:
(much to my husband's disgust and embarrassment! )
This phenomenon only occurred in the past six months or so, therefore I think it definitely has something to do with being the only female moderator/member on a male dominated forum! :queen:
After all said and done, I've got to remain 'girly' so that I can keep all you chaps in line!
I'm so glad that you approve!

Re: westone - westbury connnection
Why thank-ee kind Sir for that information!
It sure is nice to know that I'm up there amongst some big names in the eryster boot world!
Speaking of names; 'Polly Wolly Doodle' is a favourite of mine and was always sang to me as a child because I was forever 'Doodling'! I suppose it was inevitable that I became an artist!
I hope that you weren't too blown away by the hurricane and I'm glad to hear that your power is now restored!
