Thunder active & battery compartment bolts.
Thunder active & battery compartment bolts.
Does anyone in the UK know an online shop where I can get some replacement bolts that hold the active circuit & battery compartment on a Thunder1A? Ya know the ones..the short ones with the phillips head... mine have been butchered.
Thanks

Don't know what's local to you but you might try a hobby store of some sort, model trains and the like?

These are the wee counter-sunk buggers, yes? They'll be metric fine and as Barry says, a good hobby shop should be abe to help you, failing that, I'd be making a beeline for the nearest fastener supplies warehouse!!
I had dealings through eBay with an outfit in the UK called Purple Turtle Music; they were very good to deal with and if they can't help, would surely point you towards someone who could??

Re: Thunder active & battery compartment bolts.
An update on this old post and perhaps one for Barry's fix me / hardware section.
I bought these to replace the chewed up screws on my Thunder bass battery compartment. Link
They are almost identicle to the Westone originals, do the job and look the part. They will also replace the screw on the Rainbow pickguard bracket (but you'll need a nut)

Yes that fellow has some handy stuff.
Not just for guitars, the ones you mention plus grub screws ect, quite a few goodies.
Good spot.
