Westone Concord Bass (UK EBAY)

Having seen how fast things appear on here, and the incredibly high percentate of ebay instruments that appear here, I'm gunning to be the first person to list, even if only once.

£30 starting bid, £80 BIN.

I've just found this myself, I'd BIN at £80 to snap it up but it's collection only and he won't post, and he's in London. GUTTED

Are the Concord basses better than the thunders? The Thunders seem to be going for £90-100 at the moment. Having seen that over the last few days, I thought the Concord was likely (as far as I know) a good deal, but not work me travelling over a hundred miles for. There are certain instruments I could name that at certain prices, I'd certainly go for collection only in London. But I'm in Leicester, and you may be much further away.

Nah, not worth travelling for (especially since I don't have any transport other than my trusty feet) and I'm in Bolton so a 200-odd mile hike doesn't seem worth it Still I like how it looks and would love one to play about with

I wish they had kept this pickguard shape, it looks far better than the one they switched to.

Yes, me! I've gradually come to love it over the last few hours or so

An early Concord bass with that shape of pickguard is near the top of my want list, so I hope someone here grabs it.

Looks like this one has gone... yet another Westone-related disappointment!
