VINTAGE 80's WESTONE PANTERA ELECTRIC GUITAR X300

I was looking hard at it. Would have snagged it if I hadn't just picked up a Genesis I.

There is a very similar one BIN - with missing saddles for $175. I told that guy that I would be interested in it for $75 - but think that I may not be interested in it for half that now. Why mess with a re-build if the complete ones are so cheap.

The last two that I have seen prior to this one went for just above and just below $180 (white one and a pink one).

I know, last year they were fetching $200+ easy on eBay. I was at work and I had that guitar up and was watching it with about 5 minutes left and told myself I would throw a $150 bid and see if I can't steal it when a work mate came in and started talking and about 20 minutes later I remembered the auction. Man I was sick that I didn't throw a bid in. Who knows, I may not have won it for $150 but at least I wouldn't be kicking myself. I had two X300 and sold one a while ago so I still have one. But man, it still hurts to see it go so low... only because it wasn't to me. Anyone here get it so I can pretend that I am happy for your while I am really sitting and stewinmg over your good fortune. Anyone?????

This is the same guitar LINK . I wonder what the story is here. I can't believe someone would win it at that crazy price and not pay. Either way here it is again. Lets see what it goes for this time around.

Just got an email from the seller. He stated that the first winner didn't pay. An X300 for $136.16 and they didn't pay. If the winner is on this forum please don't tell me...I don't think I can take it. Well if it goes that low again you better believe I'll be putting in a bid. ME -----}

Colour preference I can understand, but "no strings" is a deal breaker for you?!
Speaking of which, why would you even put a guitar up for sale like that? Same mentality that figures it's OK to include a few years' worth of dirt under the bridge I guess!
