It looks like THIS has seen some action in it's life. According to the catalogues all the hardware should be gold, but the base plate on the trem of this guitar looks like chrome to me? Suspect

Surprise surprise the brass knobs are missing in action again!

She's definitely seen some better days eh? I really love mine and I'll grab a white one if it ever comes my way.

I think the bridge is correct and original on this one Dan. Check out the last guitar pictured on the INFO site. It shows this same chrome/brass combination --> LINK Looks weird though.

The plastic knobs are identical to the 2 cracked ones on mine and are likely period correct although according to the cats they should be brass on this model.

I dunno where the brass knobs are disappearing to, but I have a theory.
I reckon it's a gang of marauding brass monkeys from colder climes who are hell bent on recovering their missing gonads which were felled during a vicious cold snap.

See, they sneak in, pull them off the Mats guitars, then smelt them down to make new balls.
That's what I think. rabbit

Yeah I think your right, I missed that Rolling Eyes . Seems like it could be another change Uncle Mat made to the specification on these guitars. I think there is detail changes every year in the catalogues!

The brass balls? Oh they just go clang! affraid

Oh, you mean the Concord. clown
It's amazing! And rapidly becoming one of my favourite guitars. I was just playing her again this evening and it's just a great sounding axe. I have her strung with pure Nickel 9's and the sound is warmer than a Strat but with all the versatility that design offers. I agree with Hendrik, I'd never buy a Strat. (Not that I ever wanted one in the first place; I almost didn't buy this one because it looked like a Strat.) Glad I changed my mind!
The comfort level is on a par with my beloved Spectrums so it's like I've always been playing it.
You see one? Buy it!

Nice color, who cares about a few battle scars - I'll bet she sounds pretty hot. Pricey...

Another Westone that didn't sell. It's been re-listed HERE at the same price, £130 + £20 p+p within the UK.

It looks like people still aren't ready to pay out £100+ for some models of Westone?

Think yourself lucky John, I,m half Scottish, a notoriously tight fisted lot with money! I'm constantly fighting with myself
over everything I buy, "I really want that guitar, but I can't let go of this lovely, lovely money. Noooo"

Cue the struggle to let go of my cash, and then when I do, feeling guilty and wondering if I just made the biggest
mistake of my life (again!).
