Have just come across this Levy's MM4 Wireless Transmitter holder that goes through the strap. What struck me immediately was the pouch would also, very neatly and discretely potentially accommodate a dive weight or similar.

Having previously had to crudely fashion and attach a weight to the strap, to aid neck dive on a couple of guitars/basses, this seems like a good clean, easy to install fix.

It's a pretty good idea Si.
I've had discussions about this very problem over at the Mats site in the past. The solutions offered were varied but almost always ended up with a counterweight of some sort as the best approach.

One of the better ideas was in fact using a wireless pouch similar to the one you recommend.  Have a look at this post and follow the video link mentioned to see a bass player incorporating it with SCUBA diving weights.
Neck Heavy Discussion

I still haven't got around to remedying my own two heavy Vantages but it's still on my list of "things to do".

Cheers Barry, I sure I've seen that before, probably a link from you a few years back regarding the whole neck dive issue on this forum.

I did fashion on old hiking belt camera case which I used with my old Vantages, but it is red and frankly looks a bit naffff!!!. Will be getting one of the above to keep in the "just in case" drawer.

I still don't get it how guitar companies can go to such efforts to make great guitars, amazing pickups, etc etc and no consideration is given to whether the neck holds true on the strap, seriously....who road tests these instruments???  Don\'t Know Don\'t Know Don\'t Know

Makes ya wonder don't it?
That's another area where Uncle Mats seems to have dropped the ball, at least on the Vantage line.
