For Sale Westone Thunder II

Post by enaich on Tue Apr 24, 2018 3:12 pm

Hi guys,

I'm probably going to put one of my Thunder II's up for sale in a local guitar shop as I'm trying to generate some funds to buy other gear. I have no doubt that I'll regret selling this, but I needs must.

I'm going to have it in the shop for CAD$750, but I'll offer it here for CAD$700 (plus shipping costs). The guitar is physically located in Toronto if you want to come here and take a look.

Not looking for trades at the moment, and firm on the price.

For some reason I'm not able to include photos in this post (there is no insert photo option), but I'll see what I can do on subsequent posts.

Thanks

Pictures are not hosted here in the Forum, you must link to an outside source then cut and paste the URL.
See this post for how to insert an image from the editor menu: LINK

Using ServImg.com the image hosting site sponsored by the providers of this Forum
Click on the "Host An Image" button in the editor and follow the prompts:

If you simply want to link to a URL, select the "Insert Image" option:

Hi Barry,

Unfortunately the editor doesn't show up on this section of the forum for me so I'm unable to click on the 'Host An Image' button. In fact all of the message formatting options are not visible.

The editor box is where you just wrote your post.
There should be a ribbon menu bar at the top of the text area. The icon you want is the second one to the left of the YouTube icon.

If you are not seeing any options double check your Profile Settings to see if you have somehow disabled something.

p.s. There are two ways to get into the text editor and they are slightly different in appearance.
For convenience, most folks just use the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of the page. If you want the full editor with all the options, click on the "Post Reply" button in the bottom left of the page.

Try both to see if one works for you better.

Hi Barry,

Unfortunately neither the quick reply box or the Post Reply box has a ribbon menu bar at the top. I know what it looks like and where it's supposed to be, but it's not showing anymore for me for whatever reason. Unfortunatley because I can't insert images, I can't actually show you a screenshot in this reply, so I've linked a screenshot in my google drive of what I'm seeing, and also my Profile settings, to see if there's something that I'm missing.

For some reason I don't seem to have much luck with the site lol (I'm running in the most recent version of IE).

Thanks for any insight!

Man, you do have your internet fun don't you?† Mad

Again, since yours is apparently the only editor with the missing control buttons, I have to conclude it's a local issue with either your browser or your operating system has a minor code corruption somewhere.

Please try, if you haven't already, clearing your browser's cache and cookies. That will normally make the world right again in most cases.

Also, just for giggles, change the three† settings for "Always allow BBCode, HTML, and Smilies" to NO. Save the new settings. Log out of the Forum then log back in.
Reset those options back to YES and Save. Any change?

I'm still looking in the Forumotion support board for some kind of clue as to what might be going on, but anything that has turned up so far involves making coding changes to the board which I'm not going to do since this is an isolated problem and not a Forum-wide one.

Fingers crossed.
