pickup config ...
i've got SSS, SHS (a modified SSS) and HH guitars at the moment. i think that i prefer the HH config, though not for any hard and fast reason other than that i prefer strumming between the pickups, not over them. i'm just wondering what other peoples thoughts are on this subject?

Well, Tom Presleys' H-S-H set up on the Westones and Electras of the early 80s is seriously well thought out and is very versatile; I have a couple so equipped and often find myself reaching for one when a solo lead line is required!!

I've never been much of a centre pup fan either, consequently a Strat has never been in my herd.
However, as Corsair says, the Westone's H-S-H layout on my GT and LX does offer some delicious tones, even if I have to watch where I'm strumming!
