I thought I'd have a peek under the hood of the little Spectrum II that sits here with a view to fitting a spare 45 I have laying about.
The pick up I took out has 4 wires + the earth; blue to one side of the on/off/on switch and red and black to the same terminal on the other side. The white pickup wire is sent straight to earth. The readings - in isoltion are 10.86/4.97 and I think it's a little odd. Ideas, gents??

I whacked the 45 in anyway, and even though it's a neck pickup and the skinny strings don't quite line up, it still sounds good, a little chunkier than with the OEM pickup...

The 4.97 split may be a tad low but probably within some sort of tolerance spread. Who's the manufacturer, any idea?

That'd be too easy, mate! Nope... no markings of any kind anywhere on it!
