An observation...

Post by corsair on Thu Mar 19, 2015 7:45 am

.... though, given the very little I play these days, perhaps y'all should just ignore me!

My Genesis II is on the wall now - replacing the X300 ...

.... and I have to say that if I was ever to play out again,it would be this guitar I'd take with me; it is an absolute delight to play, with that wide, flat neck and stratty body which hugs you tight!! The pickups - which TP reckons he might have personally tinkered with!! - are just wonderful tone generators, even at the lowish levels I'm paying at in the lounge through a 15W Valve amp....

It helps, of course, that it is different enough to look at that it catches the eye, but, really, it is the sheer playability of the instrument that impresses...

On the other wall are the Raider II and the Corsair Avenger.... guess which one is getting all the loving presently...

Like I say.... ignore me!!

FWIW, an after market esoteric nut is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, and a great way to convert your money into someone else’s.
