Vantage entertainer for sale

This isn't mine, just saw it on a forum, price seems negotiable

Good spot Sarge, that is truly a lovely looking guitar, would be proud to take that out and put her to work. Unfortunately when I look at the other listed photos all I see is addition expense (re-fret etc). Maybe unrealistically I would expect a better example if I was going to spend that sort of money even with the potential of a negotiated reduction.

Lot of dosh for a worn out 'cave top'...

Still, the Entertainer is a wonderful guitar. I have the Entertainar version, solid body with hollow arch top over. Very cool.

That entertainer is stunning

I contacted the guy on fretboard with the VP yesterday, he is based in Bulgaria and said he would take £380 including postage. He also said that he did not think there was enough left on the frets for a polish/ re crown so a re fret it would be, think I would rather wait and pay a bit more for a good one.

Yeah that ones full of cracks and dings.

Personally I don't think they're worth that much at all.
It is a cave top and nothing special.
Not all Mats are the bollox. Just 'cause it says Vantage MIJ certainly does not warrant those prices.

Folks are asking silly prices for any old Jap junk now.
Not that the Vantage is junk. It's not!

Just all these Teisco, Audition type guitars with ridiculous prices.
They were crap back then and still are.

 Yeah I'm with you on that, Mats it's certainly been a name I would look for as a guide for a certain level of quality but I have had my fingers burnt a couple of times buying "on line" unseen. That said I recently picked up a VP700 that is getting alot of play time.

Have just bought a CSL strat MIJ, unseen on line, could be a goer, could be a bernard mathews, but yes, I did fall into the MIJ trap with that one ...must learn to "Just say No!!!!" (or not this one)
