Hi folks, I have recently fitted this pickup ring tuner to my Westone and am chuffed as punch with it. Doesn't really affect the original looks of the guitar, and works with the volume rolled off.
But most importantly it does not affect the output signal/tone of the guitar.
No more carting around my tuner pedal Smile

That's really neat, certainly beats the tone pot type,  does the slight ring extension not hamper your right hand?

Very handy for sure, especially on a gig.

Lately we've seen a few new guitars, Gibson/Epiphone mostly, come factory equipped with this feature. Acoustic-electrics have had this sort of thing built in for a long while, so it's about time.

I don't think I've seen the strings arranged in alphabetical order before though! prestige - Shadow Tuner fitted to my Westone Prestige 250 Toopid

Not often I quote my bad self, but I have to correct my, um, bad self.
As luck would have it, one our regulars popped in with the Epiphone 339 Ultra he bought here not long ago. It has a crap load of options built in, including the tuner in the mounting ring.

Guess what? Same arrangement:
CLICKITY-CLICK
CLICKY-CLACK

So chalk it up to a few more dead brain cells. I have seen this before. Embarassed

Hiya, not at all. I can get definite dimensions for you, but at a guess its only 2mm wider than than the standard pickup ring.
When I palm mute my hand is on the bridge, but I doubt this tuner would get in the way, regardless of player style.
By the way, it's more responsive and quicker than my BOSS TU-2! I love it

Bareknuckle Rebel Yells. I liked the original pups but tried the Rebel Yells and never looked back. They clean up extremely well when you roll the volume off, but more importantly they give superbly clear overdive tones, you can really hear the note sing. And when you play a chord, there's very clear definition, you can hear every string, not cloudy and mushy.

I am indeed. Never really use the treble side of the notch,  but sounds thick as molasses when I roll back on the neck pickup.
