Concord - Concord I truss ross question Empty Concord I truss ross question

Post by BC Witch Tue Aug 19, 2014 1:43 am

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I recently bought a Concord I with the truss rod adjustment at the base of the neck. I can't get a regular allen key in the small hole in the pick guard but I've discovered that such a thing as a 'stubby' allen key exists with a shorter length that will hopefully fit in there.

I'm hoping someone can please tell me what size key fits the Concord as I don't want to order a whole set.

I will post pix of the guitar (and my old Thunder II-A that I've had since about 1983) in the near future.

Thanks.

5mm.

Here's an original one.
Could just take a normal type(long) and grind it down.

Yep, this is what I did, 2 minutes with a dremel cutting wheel to lop off the end.

Of course, I'd do the same thing....with an angle grinder, 2 seconds with laser beam... What a Face
