Spotted this in Ebay today for the jaw-dropping amount of £999!

It's only too expensive if it doesn't sell.

For example there has been a Spectrum FX on the UK eBay priced at £295 for several months now. The seller asked about pricing (before flouncing off) and the consensus was that £150 was probably nearer the mark (I picked up a scruffy one a few months ago for much less than that).

All it takes is for one person to want it and to pay the asking price, it just depends on how long you're willing to wait.

Only when you sell it will you know what it is worth; I, personally, am loathe to put a figure on this sort of thing as there are far too many intangibles involved.
Good luck with the sale; you're right - there's not many of these about, and even fewer for sale!!
