Asking too much money but one of Westone's 'better' models.
Simple  switching, PEQ- series/parallel and a phase.

Get some seriously good sounds out of these. MMk53's nice.

This one's been on E bay for what seems like years.

That Pearl white is very nice.

Have seen the PEQ tone controls mentioned before and spoken highly of. Out of interest PEQ stands for Parallel, phase, parametric or is it a branding?

In this case passive(no batteries)
Changes the pups from series to parallel with a rotary control as opposed to your normal pull/push type switch.
From the center dentent on the control (series) to turned up(parallel)
From center turned down works as a normal tone but only with the pups in series.

The change from series to parallel is not smooth though and in real terms it's either center or full up.

Thanks as always Damian, that makes sense .Need to get my ears on one of those at some stage. Tried a Thunder 1A (2) recently and with the active engaged some of the full up tones were really harsh, I guess it takes practice to find that sweet spot.

Thunder IA's are a completely different circuit to PEQ's

Early IA's with active gain are fine. 2nd. generation actives are crap imho. Fine on a bass but very harsh and sterile on a 6 string.
