Pantera X775 bass Empty Pantera X775 bass

Post by Guest Fri May 17, 2013 11:24 am

Just putting some feelers out there - anyone looking to buy a Pantera X775 bass. To be honest, I just am not getting into the whole 5 string thing so I think I'm going to let this one go. It's a great bass, but just not my thing. Got some pics in this thread : Pantera X775 PM if interested or want some better pics.

That is correct, Sarge.

I tried to get him mine as an extended "gigging loan" but the hammer came down hard on that idea... No no no Evil or Very Mad No

This one has a few scratches and such, and has yellowed a bit, but has some very nice low and even action across the neck. I would also be interested in trades as my bid for a recent 4 string on ebay got outbid.

Looking for 600 or a trade for a 4 string of equal value. I reluctantly have it up on ebay at the moment - not in a hurry, but have it out there.

I just lucked out on a '82 Thunder 1 bass.....found it on guitar center website. $213 out the door, beautiful bass, very good plus condition, sounds like a kick*ss P bass. What a steal!

I've got 3 Westies and 3 Aria Pro II's.....uncle Mats did some fine work! These are some of best of all the basses I've ever played in 32 years, and I've played quite a few.

Last year? I posted about it just a couple months ago! Still lusting after one, but money went elsewhere between then and now and work has dried up a lot. If work picks up, though...

Hey sarcaster, PM me about a trade proposal if you're interested.

BTW that korean pantera I picked up in TN was a steal! Plays very well, but the neck pup had a intermittent coil. I have it's replacement sitting at home and should be installed in the next couple of days. Can't wait to hear it through a real amp!

It's on Ebay with a few watchers at the moment so I feel obligated to let that ride out, but warrn beat ya to the punch with a PM. He has first shot at it if it doesn't sell on the bay. But if he changes his mind I will let you know.

Thanks.

Here's one in Germany...looks good, replaced pickups (EMG HZ) with original covers, replaced electronics...was offered for 219 EUR during the last week, now he asks for offers. Seems like noone was interested...might be worth a look for the Europeans in here...

"Ibanez Westone Bass"? Hahahahaha! Laughing It's pearl white, but white finishes in the 80s tend to yellow with age.

This Pantera is mine now! Hottest bass pickups I've ever experienced, I can tap a lead guitar solo on this monster if I want! Shocked ... Twisted Evil
