Just bought this beast off of eBay

Post by boutjp97 on Sat Mar 07, 2009 10:50 am

Just bought this Electra Westone which is an obvious Dynasty precursor as far as I can tell. I just am not sure if it is really an Electra Westone model or if it is a Westone Dynasty with an Electra Westone neck. The bridge is broken and the bridge p/u appears to be changed, also the knobs are Gibson type speed knobs but thanks to David I have plenty of new Westone cupcake knobs. I won't get it for a couple of weeks so I'll let you all know my findings when I get to look at it in hand. Does anyone know if Electra Westone made a Dynasty model?

Sale didn't go through

Post by boutjp97 on Tue Mar 17, 2009 9:55 pm

It's back on ebay for sale because seller claimed Paypal account was frozen, I was not willing to send a check so back on the bay it is. But as a side note I did buy that pink pantera so now I am in the pink pantera club with Polly (except mine only has a single volume knob).

...hmmm, that sounds a bit unsavoury... Laughing Laughing

Good on you, mate - I thought it was a pretty reasonable deal, too!! There's about 4 Dynasties on the bay at the moment; take your pick... Very Happy
