X390 - Pantera x390 in Boston Empty Pantera x390 in Boston

LINK

850 GBP (1285 USD/986 EUR)

Seems like everyone wants (or tries) to get rid of x390's atm.

His "calculation" of the price is a bit unrealistic, however:

Pair of MMK75: 190 GBP
Electrics: 100 GBP
Kahler Trem: 200 GBP (I bought a gold one a year ago with sringlock and tremolo bar and that cost me 60 EUR (about 50 GBP)...Anyone interested Wink?

Man, everyone repeats that "only 96 were ever made" aspect.

But they (the faceless masses of sellers) can't tell the difference between a Corsair and a Steve Lynch Signature, or a Villain Std and a Dan Armstrong Signature.

Somehow, all the mistakes seem to be in the favor of the guitar being more rare/expensive. Funny how that happens, huh?

The other question would be about the "limited production" of the higher
end panteras...do you still know how many were manufatured?

Yeah, that's one of those questions I shouldn't have asked in my life...But I was young and didn't know any better Rolling Eyes...

WTF does this mean and where did he get it?

"when you know that only 16 of the X390CB guitars were made in X390 series
and around half of them are probably destroyed by now that would leave around 8 that are working and less that are in good condition"

Only 16 blue ones? Come on now, I've owned 3 of them.

Probably read a post somewhere and took it as gospel. Most seem blue or white - it's the black ones that ya dont see too often. I've only seen my dbk, and in pics- yours, Trevor's, and maybe 2 others.

I don't think Trevor had/has a black one. But I could be wrong.

I have an old guitar magazine with a pic of his then current gear. It had his old strat and a 390DBK sitting next to each other( no 390CB in the pic). I thought it was kinda cool to see he used more than just the CB. It's the same magazine that has him holding the 12 string spectrum on the cover.
