1984 Concorde (newbie)
Hello westone lovers!,
this is my first post, but i'm a long time lover of these great guitars. i have two concorde 1's.
i was recently looking for some general information about them on the westone.info site (which is great by the way) and i came across a picture of a guitar that looks uncannily like the one i own.
it's the one at the bottom of the page, natural wood colour.
http://www.westone.info/concord1.html
anyway, i was just wondering if anyone on here knows anything about this guitar. underneath the pictures the webmaster indicates it is his. i was wondering if he posts on here, maybe he could confirm the serial number as i can't make it out.

Hello there Mr. Rekoner and welcome!
As to your question regarding the Concord, might I suggest that you try and contact David Blair (owner of the guitar in question and the owner of westone.info) directly through his site. David is a really nice guy and I'm sure he will be able to answer all your questions about the guitar.
I hope this helps. In the meantime, why don't you put some photos of your guitar up in the Members Westones forum.

well a funny thing just happened!
i saved the pic on the website and the name of the file just happens to match my serial number, so i'm taking that as confirmation that it is my guitar in the picture. i will post some pictures soon but, you might not like them as i have modified it slightly lol

So Rekoner, have I got this right? Are you saying that David once owned this guitar and you now own it?

Re: 1984 Concorde (newbie)
yes that is exactly what i'm saying
it was quite funny because i kind of knew straight away it was my guitar just from the shapes in the grain.
