Where is this one from?

The main problem with guitars not having passports is that it's hard tracing their origins too precisely. You can nail the year (hopefully), the brand, the country it was made in, but then it gets harder.

This one for instance. I have had trouble finding info on it. Some say it's a Matsumoku brand, which might be possible given the slight improvisation on the standard LP shape and the build quality that looks ok from what we can see. But it might be any other enterprising Japanese factory.

Any ideas on this one?

general agreement is it was made by Cort in the Terrada Gakki factory........

Hm yeah, saw that thread too. I also read some guys on basstalk I think saying it was Mats. The Japanese were really trying to flood the market with nearly as many brands as guitars they could produce .

This Masada does look kinda sweet though...
