www.myspace.com.catoninetales .. for my "cat o' nine" band site..
The 1985 Spectrum SX (X188TPR), was my main road/stage guitar for 14 years.. it is actually my number two guitar in my collection.. the 1984 Dimension IV ranks third.. My favorite is the ibanez iceman.. it is pretty spectacular.. i use it
to play metal and country.. not at the same time.. but, yeah..
versatile.. cool thing is i cant find one like it anywhere.. not even
in the ibanez sites.. closest i got was the 1981 ic50rb.. it is a 1981
and 100% stock.. the spectrum was easier to throw around on stage for the whole night so it got billing over the iceman and the dimensionIV (for the same reason).. i have mad love for the spectrum sx.. even today, 23 years later, i walk through my lving room and gaze at her lovingly.. the chuck berry redness of it all has its own coolness factor too.. (the blood of the guitar was chuck berry red).. ha.. jim steinman quote.. i just got the 1984 concord SX to match it. same TPR whole paint job (damn it's black heart and it's pretty red neck) and everything.. ha. .sammy kershaw quote.. lol..
any one have any questions about any of them please ask.. several were given to me as music store promotions when i was playing in bands in the 80's.. some were birthday presents.. but all of them are pretty cool i think.. i have a "hands on" museum here (independence, kansas) where people can drop by and try them out.. i also have a bunch of different amp styles too.. marshall crate peavey.. i love guitars and always have so i share them !!! i like to write too.. can ya tell ???

WOW!!! I'm impressed!
I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't find the "my guitars and me" folder that you mentioned Scott. Have I been looking in the wrong place? I do like the 'Pink Guitar' picture though!
The 'Catoninetails' link didn't work, can you put it in again please?

pics on my myspace
you may have to add me on there ( www.myspace.com/rustyknales ) to access those pics.. i am gonna check it out..
oh it was www.myspace.com/catoninetales .. like a tale.. sorry
the pink guitar is the 2005 jay turser JT-DLX.. it is setneck, creme binding, double zebra humbuckers, varitone switch, pearly inlays, and is a really well built guitar.. i have looked it over like you would not believe and it is faultless as near as i can tell.. chinese.. who knew.. they have them on clearance last i looked.. it is almost too pretty to play.. i played one side of "back in black" (side two) with it and set it on the stand.. no one wants to touch it when they visit my museum because it is stunning.. sorry, i know it's non westone but you mentioned it and i type alot.. lol

fixed it
yup.. had it on "friends only".. it is one "everyone" now.. sorry folks.. i need to take some pics of the antares bitch thing.. their proudness of plywood is interesting.. it is plain dark wood and the side of the body is striped all the way around leaving no doubts to it's construction.. plywood.. the top strap holder is interesting also.. other than that one, the alvarez rd-10 acoustic and the 72 epiphone ft-147 acoustic, i got all my guitars pictured there.. sorry for having it on friends only.. but they are available now !!!
Re: all my guitars on one list.. jeez
You definitely need pictures of that "Antares Bitch", I can't even believe that's really its name! I found nothing through Google. And I'm loving your collection, it's so very weird! I should really post my own.

no big names
i was based out of cookeville tennessee area during my band times.. the music store there gave me either free guitars or great deals on them from their "last years stock" or guitars from way back that no one had wanted to buy.. i brought them tons of business though as i gave lessons and played 6 or 7 nights a week and had the banners and flyers and free pick to throw about.. so i ended up with interesting guitars.. i have sold some.. i no longer have any aria pro IIs and i had like 3 at one time.. couple of other jacksons gone.. some arbors too. and a few bentlys.. lol.. jeez i have been through hundreds of them.. the keepers are the westones though.. i could part with and have parted with most of the rest if i had to.. but i have had my red spectrum sx since the day i laid eyes on it.. we are inseperable.. as far as big names go, i do have the fender musicmaster bass.. but i play the ibanez when i am gonna play bass.. and if you go to my pictures, check out the neck on the synsonics pro strat.. it is awesomely flamed.. you tell me who put THAT neck on that guitar.. had to have been a mistake.. and the antares isnt named "bitch", it is the same shape as a bc rich bich.. it looks like the blue series10 bently (same shape)but is dark wood instead.. cherry was what they called it ???
Re: all my guitars on one list.. jeez
That is a beautiful neck indeed... does it play like any other maple neck?
