I emailed the guy for details and haven't heard back yet.

ugh... just checked as to why i haven't heard from him... he says he doesn't answer e-mails. I don't understand why people would rather me have their phone number then to just answer e-mail. You put up a CL ad, but e-mail is too hard for you to manage? *sigh* I'll call him tomorrow.

I completely agree! So weird. I can understand if they're real busy and all, but come on people!

yeah actually i would think if i was busy e-mail would be a better way to handle it. Anyway, called the guy and he's going to send me some more pictures, I still don't know what exactly is wrong with the setup, he says he can't get it to tune unless he raises the action extremely high. And then it still doesn't stay in tune. Pickups are original and working, case has some rash on it. will update when i see the pictures.

Not enough counter tension on the springs is all by the sounds of it. Each time you retune, the trem rises and everything goes flat. That will continue until the sustain block hits the end of the cavity. By then the action is wa-a-a-y up there; too high to play.

ah. that's what i thought too. But i don't really know i'm a bass guy.

So, Evil... ya buying or ya offering to pick it up for a finders/hasslers fee and ship it to one of us?

Offering to grab it and send for a finder's fee. Or at least just putting it out there for you guys to get it from him yourself. But i don't think this guy is going to ship, but you never know unless you ask him.

In case i wasn't clear, if you call the guy, and get the guitar and i don't see a cent i will be perfectly happy . I only post here stuff i see on CL because it might be something someone here is looking for, or wants
