What does anyone know about these things? Are they as good as their big brother? I have a line on one here for about A$300......
And no-ones interested in the left handed Thunder 1a I found a couple of weeks ago??

Re: Roland JazzChorus 50
Sorry bro, I've only played the 120 which as you know is a great sounding amp. But I would think this should still be OK, no?

The JC 120 was my main amp for ages and love it. I think the big difference is the 50 has 1 channel and no stereo chorus - which is the cool thing about the 120. I will say one thing - they are very reliable - I never had it drop out at a show ever.

JC Roland amps are pretty bombproof.
They were the amp of choice for many a band, particularly world music groups from the early to mid 1980s who also majored in Westone and other Uncle Mat guitars.
Check oiut the love for Roland JC amps on other forums.
Great cleans but dont bother with the OD IMO
And bloody heavy too....
Sort of a solid state Twin Reverb as far as heft was concerned

I used a Roland cube 100(!) during my *ahem* career. Still have it. Weighs a friggin' ton! As you say, bombproof!
But I used a Chorus 120 at rehearsals 'cuz we got together at the bass player's music store where he had one just a sittin' there calling my name! Great amp.
