Post by Ray Fri Jul 15, 2011 6:38 pm

Hi I just found this site, So first time posting.
I have a Westone Spectrum S. and am tying to find out some information about it. I have looked at a lot of Westone sites but I don't see the S listed. Can anyone help me find out it's age, value etc.
Thanks.

Here ya' go, Ray...

http://www.westoneguitars.net/guitars/spectrum-series/spectrum-s/

This is the "parent" site that the forums you are posting on are associated with, maintained by one of our senior members, Barry. This site is very comprehensive and well thought out as well, imho.

As far as your guitars age look at the serial number. The first digit will be the year (from the 80's) and the next two will tell you the month. As an example my X775 serial # begins 606 meaning June (06) of 1986 (6).

Please post some pics in the members section. We love to look... Shocked

Sorry if that makes us sound like a bunch of lechers, but it is true. lol!

You'll need to open up an account (if you don't already have one) on a free hosting site such as Photobucket, ImageShack, etc. Upload your pix there, then copy the IMG code provided by them and paste it here in your post. Easy really. Smile

just an FYI - the Westone site lets you click on Spectrum model - then on the Spectrum S -[which claims no catalogue info or pics] - then lets you click on a pic of a black "S" with text claiming "NO Coil Tap" - my dual humbucker White Spectrum S SER #511xxxx has a push/pull coil tap/split but obv no extra toggle -best $150 i ever spent...
