I'd have one if eBay didn't decide to log me out before my last minute bid. Guess that's what I get for trying to snipe.

I saw the email notification this morning that there had been an answer to this post and got mildly excited! Not to say that it isn't always a pleasure to chat, of course.

Use an automated snipe service - set it and forget it. It costs so little. I use esnipe. You pay nothing if you don't win, and if you do, it's 1% of the sale price. That's pretty reasonable really considering the convenience.

Good luck, Paul. I have an x775 as you know but am not currently looking to move it for anything short of an x390ma or maybe an Aria PE-1500...

Hope the two of you can work something out.

I believe Peter and I have come to an agreement so it is with the greatest of pleasure that I am editing this thread.

One thing to add, perhaps, is that these are *not* lightweight at 4.3kg, around 9.5lbs! But the coolest looking bass on the planet is perhaps worth the occasional trip to the osteopath.
