1989 Clipper Series CL2011? (UK)

Westone Clipper Guitar - 99p Current Bid.

Strange one this? It sounds like this guitar was once in a theme bar, it was in a display case with a drum skin and some posters, and it has some big ugly looking mounting screw holes to the rear of the body.

Also the guitar has a rear trem cover but appears to have a hard tail? It looks similar to the CL2011 model as seen HERE, but it had a BM DLX trem and this guitar has no trem post holes or - more importantly - there is no evidence of a locking nut ever been fitted?

Is this a lower model in the range, or is it just an oddball? The serial number is 89 03 0130.
